Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A query entered into a search box is processed by the provider operating that tool. Blue Earth County Court Docket does not maintain a database of the names, case numbers, or other search terms entered there.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If a visitor sends a message, we retain it as needed to respond and manage the correspondence. We do not share it outside the organization except when disclosure is legally required.
Data We Gather Automatically
Hosting and analytics services can receive routine technical information associated with a visit.
- IP address assigned to the visitor's connection
- Browser version and device operating system
- Pages requested and time spent on them
- Referring page when one is supplied
- Time and date information for page requests
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies and aggregate analytics help operate the service and assess page performance. Browser controls may restrict cookies, although some features can then work differently.
What We Do With This Data
Technical and correspondence information may be used for site operation, security, traffic measurement, search-tool routing, advertising support, and troubleshooting. It is not used to create a court-record profile about a third party.
- Maintain availability and diagnose errors
- Measure aggregate use of resources
- Route a request to the relevant search provider
- Understand technical performance
- Support advertising shown by providers
No Court-Record Data on File
Blue Earth County Court Docket does not host, compile, sell, or maintain a court-docket or personal case-record database. It describes official routes to Blue Earth County Court Administration, Blue Earth County District Court, and Minnesota Court Records Online. The resource is not a consumer reporting agency, and visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports or reports about other people.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes that appear on some pages. Information submitted to one of those tools is governed by the provider's own privacy terms, retention practices, and sharing rules. Review the provider's policy before using its service.
Links to Other Websites
Links to the Minnesota Judicial Branch, Court Administration resources, and other outside services take a visitor to a separate service. That service's privacy policy controls once the visit leaves this resource. Advertising networks may also use their own systems to provide interest-based advertisements.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal data. Limited information can be processed by vendors that supply hosting, analytics, advertising, or the search function, and may be disclosed in response to a valid legal requirement.
- Search providers selected by a visitor
- Analytics and hosting vendors
- Advertising networks that serve page advertising
- Government authorities when a valid legal obligation applies
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used for the information received. Internet transmission and storage cannot be guaranteed fully secure, so no assurance is made that a security incident can never occur.
Users Under 18
The resource is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from people under 18. If a parent or guardian believes a minor supplied personal information, they may request its removal.
Your Data Rights
Visitor data is handled subject to applicable law. Minnesota's Government Data Practices Act, Minn. Stat. ยง 13.01, does not displace the court-specific access framework, including Minnesota Rule of Public Access 8, for official judicial records. A visitor may ask about personal information held through direct correspondence and may request correction or deletion when applicable.
- Request a copy of directly provided information we retain
- Ask for correction of inaccurate correspondence information
- Request deletion where retention is not required
- Ask about available choices for data processing
Updates to This Policy
We may revise this policy as operations or legal requirements change. The effective date will be updated with a revised version.
